Hereford United will pocket around £45,000 from their FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town, says chairman David Keyte.

“We will probably clear £45,000 in total from the Shrewsbury match but we have not got a Saturday home game in the league for 10 weeks,” he said.

The chairman has written to the Conference, expressing his disappointment over the fixture list.

“I have expressed my views about the fixtures in a letter to the Conference but I haven’t had a reply yet,” said Keyte.

“Ten weeks is a long time to go without a home league fixture on a Saturday.”
