HEREFORD FC are to operate two cash turnstiles at Edgar Street for this Saturday's game against Boldmere St Michaels to try and avoid another delayed kick off.

They will be in the Meadow End, numbered 20 and 21.

Hereford's last home game against Coleshill Town was delayed by 15 minutes due to a number of fans queuing to buy tickets.

The club have been operating cashless turnstiles this season to help volunteers and the club on a whole.

But it says it appreciates that there is a need ticket purchases to be more convenient for supporters.

"We would like to thank our hard working volunteers both at the ticket booths, and on the turnstiles for their outstanding efforts so far this season, and would also like to thank you, the fans, for your patience and understanding," reads a club statement.

"In particular we’d like to thank those fans who took the time to get in touch with us with their comments and suggestions regarding ticket sales, and we hope that these new arrangements will go someway to making your matchday a more enjoyable experience"

Fans can still buy tickets online in advance, as well as from the club on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm.

Tickets for this Saturday's game will be on sale from Addison's reception from 10.30am to 12.30pm on the day and from ticket offices by the old toilet block and next to the players' entrance from noon to 2.55pm.

Hereford go into the game on the back of an excellent 7-2 away win at Heanor Town.
