BARTESTREE have turned down a friendly match against Hereford United tomorrow night at Edgar Street.
Bartestree boss Dave Cadwallader revealed the Herefordshire villagers had been approached after United had scrapped their scheduled friendly with Sinkums ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’.
Cadwallader asked people on social media for their views on whether Bartestree should agree to the match with the troubled Bulls.
And Cadwallader, a Hereford United fan, has Tweeted: “We will not be playing Hereford United tomorrow nt. Thank you for all your comments & our decision is based on your reactions, thank u.”
Yesterday, United chairman Andy Lonsdale told the Hereford Times the planned friendly with Sinkums had been cancelled and they would not play another match before the weekend.
However, Cadwallader confirmed this afternoon that Bartestree had been approached to play a friendly with United tomorrow night.
