TWO of Hereford United’s heroes from last season will be linking up with the Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) team.
Former caretaker boss Pete Beadle and assistant Steve Jenkins will be offering their support to the HUST team.
And former United striker Steve Guinan has confirmed he is hoping to get on his boots to play for the HUST side against Worcester City.
Former striker Trevor Benjamim is also planning to be involved in the match against Worcester City.
Speaking earlier today, Beadle said: “I have spoken to Jenks this morning and we are keen to get involved to show support for the rest of the team from last season.”
"It is Jenks' birthday today, and he thinks he might be too old now to put on his boots."
HUST will be travelling to Ledbury Town on Monday night to play their first match of the season (7.30pm kick-off).
They will be playing against Worcester City at Malvern Town on August 3; Pegasus Juniors at Old School Lane on August 5; and a Mayor’s XI at Hinton.
Former Hereford United chief Graham Turner has agreed to manage the Mayor’s XI against HUST on a date to be confirmed
