ADAM Page says he is enjoying his run of form at the moment after he helped Hereford FC chalk up their 13th consecutive win in all competitions by beating Quorn 2-0.

The 18-year-old struck twice in the second half that cements the Bulls' position at the top of the Midland Football League Premier Division.

Hereford have now scored 50 league goals in just 16 games and have not conceded a goal since September 22.

"We can't complain at the moment because the team is doing well," said Page.

"I'm enjoying it at Hereford because it's such a good set-up and very professional, they don't deserve to be in the league they are but I'm sure they'll get to where they should be in a few years.

"I'm on a good run at the moment, so hopefully I can keep playing well."

Page, who is on loan from Cheltenham Town until January 2, says he enjoys playing out wide.

"I have played on the wing for the last two years since I have been at Cheltenham – before that, I played centre-midfield and upfront, but I haven't played there for a long time," said Page.

"Going wide is part of our game and it is something that we're really strong at – we've got so many areas where we can threaten."

Page added that Quorn made Hereford work for the three points.

"We were a bit sloppy at times but you've got expect that now and again," he said.

"I think we were definitely the better team."

Hereford manager Pete Beadle added that not every game is going to be a vintage display by his team.

"I still think we played quite well, we just didn't play as well as we have in some other games," he said.

"We still probably had between 65 and 70% possession and we looked fairly comfortable.

"Adam got two goals and but he could have had a hat-trick because he missed another chance.

"But I'm pleased for him because he is a young lad and his performances have been right up there.

"January 2 is when the loan deal runs out but we are hopeful of extending that if him and the the club are happy to do so."

Leading goalscorer John Mills shot wide for Hereford in the 11th minute before Joel Edwards' cross was nearly fumbled into his own net by Quorn goalkeeper Ryan Thacker.

Hereford then escaped a penalty appeal after Harvey Rivers appeared to trip a Quorn striker who was through on goal before Pablo Haysham saw his effort deflected behind for a corner. But Hereford did take the lead two minutes into the second half after Page clinically fired home after being set up by Dylan Bonella.

Both Mills and Haysham had chances to extend the lead before Page sealed the win five minutes from time.
