SUPPORTERS queued up early this morning to get their hands on a Hereford FC season ticket.

The club had to open their doors 25 minutes earlier when fans started waiting outside Addisons.

It has been reported that more than 50 tickets have already been sold, priced at £135 for adults and £115 concessions.

David Davies was one person who bought a season ticket.

The long-standing supporter will once again be in the same seat in Block C of the Merton Stand.

"I have been coming here for over 50 years and it's nice to see it all up and running again," he said.

Paul Flitney also bought a season ticket for himself and his children, Eva, aged eight, and James, five.

"I'm going to go next season because it's very exciting with the change of ownership," said Paul.

"Eva played on the pitch and has been a mascot.

"I didn't go last year because of everything that was happening, which was a shame because you're missing out.

"But I am very keen to show my support to the new club."

The temporary office in the foyer at the ground will be open until 8pm today and will re-open at 10am on Saturday.

Season ticket books will not be available until Hereford FC know which league they will be placed in.

Meanwhile, volunteers are still being sought to help with day-to-day jobs.

The electrical work that is required at Edgar Street should hopefully be completed by June 1.
