HEREFORD FC have this week set the wheels in motion for the new season by announcing their matchday admission prices.

Supporters will be able to watch games at Edgar Street for £8 from August, with concession prices set at £7.

Any under-16s with a Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) membership card will be able to attend for £1, with £3 set for non-members.

The new club have also set season ticket prices, which go on sale from midday today.

They are priced at £135 for adults and £110 for concessions, with 21 home games set to take place.

It will not be known what league Hereford will play in until around mid-May, but the likely scenario is that they will be placed at step five of the non-league football pyramid.

"Releasing ticket prices today is very exciting as it really reinforces the fact that we are now moving forward as a fully functioning football club," said Hereford FC commercial director George Webb.

"Although the season ticket books themselves will not be available for at least a couple of months, we would love supporters to commit to buying season tickets as soon as possible because we are really keen to show the FA that the level of support we believe we can attract is accurate.

"We have tried to pitch the prices at a level that is reasonable for either of the two levels the club may be entered at and we believe the prices represent excellent value for a 21-game league season."

Under-16s will be able have a season ticket for just £20, while executive/Vice-Presidents Club packages are priced at £350 for adults and £650 for couples.

Hereford FC have confirmed that all six of their directors have bought a VP season ticket.

Season ticket holders will also be entitled to a 10 per cent discount on club merchandise and guaranteed to buy tickets for any of the bigger games the club may have.

Supporters can reserve specific seats should they wish.

The news comes on the back of Hereford FC finalising the lease deal with Herefordshire Council, that makes them a tenant of Edgar Street for the next five years.
