THE logo of long-serving sponsor Cargill might not be appearing on Hereford United’s playing shirts this season, admits advisor Joel Nathan.
Nathan said new home and away playing strips had been organised by the club.
“A brand new kit has been organised and we will speak to Cargill but we are not sure whether they will be the main shirt sponsor,” said Nathan.
“It’s the stuff they are reading on these forums which might put them off.
“It will be a new black and white kit for home – and we should have a shirt sponsor.
“We have to look at our options – but the kits will have the same colours as last season.
“The kit has been ordered and we are just awaiting the badges to go on them.”
In a statement, Cargill said: "For the last few years our long term support of Hereford United has focussed on the Hereford United Community Trust, which supports youth football, school and disability development programmes in and around Hereford.
"We are currently talking to the Trustees to explore future support for their efforts in these areas.”
