Bromyard round off their perfect season with win at Warley
1:00pm Thursday 26th April 2012 in Rugby
Warley 0 pts Bromyard 44.
BROMYARD rounded off their perfect season in style with their 16th win from 16 outings.
With promotion already secured, Scott Holloway’s men found the ideal way to celebrate the club’s 30th anniversary and had a big following to cheer them to another emphatic success.
Warley made an impressive start and it required some good defending, led by man-of-the-match Lee Cox, to prevent the home side from going ahead.
Bromyard soon settled, though, and got their first points on the board with a Chris Rowberry penalty.
Wingers Matt Cross and Rob Legge added tries on the opposing flanks to establish a half-time lead.
After the break, Bromyard’s open style of play and fitness levels told as centres Ed Morgan and James Manning began to wreak havoc.
Morgan went over for two tries with Manning bagging three as, with Rowberry adding three conversions, the visitors romped to victory and celebrated in style at the final whistle.
