Two make the play-offs

HEREFORDSHIRE will have two sides in the RFU League play-offs next weekend.

Luctonians clinched a 25-25 draw at Kenilworth to secure second place in the Midlands 1 table.

They now face a tricky trip to Huddersfield next Saturday.

Hereford, however, secured a home tie in their Midlands 2 West play-off.

They will face Hinckley at Wyeside after an excellent 17-10 success at Bromsgrove.

There was despair for Ledbury in Midlands 4 West South, however.

The county side travelled to Old Coventrians, knowing that a draw would keep them ahead of their rivals.

But the day turned into a disaster for Ledbury who were hammered 44-0 and missed out on promotion.
