GREYHOUND Ladies are through to the next round of the Junior Cup after beating Old Newtonians 22-10.
The Hereford based side, who are undefeated in National Challenge League Midlands 2 (South) and opened the scoring with tries from Georgina Evans and Charlie Board.
Old Newtonians then went over after Greyhound gave away a penalty in their 22, but the away side managed to extend their lead thanks to Claire Higginson to go into half-time 15-5 ahead.
After the break, Greyhound made some handling errors, allowing Old Newtonians to score their second try.
However, a great pick from the back of the scrum saw Sam Lumb score and she added the conversion.
Greyhound are back in league action this Sunday when they travel to Dursley for a top-of-the-table clash.
