LEDBURY Under 10s retained their cup at Worcester Rugby Festival.
After drawing 1-1 against Worcester 1-1, Ledbury finished second in their pool after beating teams from Bristol 5-0 and Chiswick 6-1.
Their semi-final opponents were Zug, a touring team from Switzerland, who had won all of their pool games, only conceding one try.
But Ledbury stepped up their physicality and won the game 2-0, silencing the touring supporters' cow bells, which had been ringing out all morning!
The final saw a re-match with the home favourites Worcester.
Expecting the same slow start from Ledbury, Worcester were rocked by two well-crafted tries early and mid-way through the first half.
The second half witnessed a resurgent Worcester battering at the Ledbury line, but Ledbury held firm with quick defensive line speed and robust tackling, eventually winning the game 2-0.
