LUCTONIANS will be hoping the memories of last season's dramatic survival will lead their side to victory today when they resume their National League 2 campaign.

The Kingsland side, who saw their game at Harrogate called off last week, face Leicester Lions, whom Lucs beat on the last day of last season to stay in the division.

But Leicester are much stronger this season and go into the game in fifth place.

Lucs captain Dan Smith is set to be miss the game due to injury.

Elsewhere, Hereford travel to Stratford-on-Avon, who are joint top of Midlands 1 West, Ledbury entertain Shipston-on-Stour in Midlands 3 West (South, Bromyard are home to Telford Hornets in Midlands 4 West (North) and Greyhound go to St Leonards in Midlands 5 West (North).

In Gloucester 2, Ross go to Cotham Park.
