HOOKER Lewis Jordan said felt frustrated after Hereford's game against Kenilworth was abandoned at half-time.

Jordan had just returned to the side following injury.

He said: "I was injured at Burton just before Christmas, so it's been a stressful period for me trying to get back fit and, when I do, I felt alright for 40 minutes and the game is called off."

Jordan felt Hereford would have got a bonus point after being 10-0 up, which would have put them right in the Midlands 1 West promotion mix.

"We've been coming into form, even though this weather doesn't really suit us," said Jordan.

"But a couple of wins and we'll be right at the top.

"The reason why we're far down the table is because we're not picking up enough bonus points.

"We've won as many as the teams above us and we sat out and scored two quick tries.

"We were playing some nice stuff and I think we would have got the bonus point, so it's pretty disappointing."

Jordan added it was nice to see Hereford fans make the trip to the Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School.

"It was nice seeing people coming over from Wyeside, it's known for having a bit of an atmosphere and we tried to recreate that and it was great to have them over here," he said.

Hereford travel to fourth-placed Stratford-upon-Avon, who are joint top of the division with 46 points.

"We got well beaten there last year, so we do owe them one, and it will really mark our season if we get a win there," said Hereford coach Kieram Hallam.

"We lost the first two games of the season against sides fighting relegation and were beaten at Bourneville away, but we have been very positive in every other game."
