HEREFORD Rugby Club's match against Kenilworth this afternoon was called off at half-time after referee Arron Williams injured his ankle.
Williams went down around 10 minutes before half-time and, despite receiving treatment on the pitch, could not carry on after the break.
Hereford were winning 10-0 at the time thanks to tries from James Harris and Lloyd Willcocks, but will now have to play the game again.
Rules state that 60 minutes have to be completed for the result to stand.
The Midlands 1 West match was initially meant to be played earlier in the season, but was postponed due to Wyeside being flooded.
The pitch was again unplayable this week, resulting in the game being switched to the Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School.
