LEDBURY stormed to the top of Midlands 3 West (South) following a comprehensive 55-14 win at Harbury.

The away side went ahead through a George Bennion penalty before the same player converted James Cooke's try.

A remarkable 15-minute spell before half-time saw Matt Hallett go over three times.

Bennion converted each try to take Ledbury into the break 31-0 up.

Harbury did get on the scoresheet in the second half thanks to a converted try, but back came Ledbury, who went further ahead thanks to a try from Dave Bromage.

Dale Brown then got in the on the act by grabbing another try to make it 41-7 before Harbury hit back with a try of their own, which was converted.

But it was Ledbury who had the final say when, first Aaron Almond converted Arron James' try, before Hallett grabbed his fourth try of the afternoon.

Bromage this time took the kicking duties to seal a resounding win.

Bromyard earned a winning bonus point after beating Aston Old Edwardians 39-19 in Midlands 4 West (North).

Matt Swain crossed for an early try for Bromyard before kicking over a penalty.

Aston hit back with two well-worked tries but it was Bromyard who led at half-time courtesy of a Rob Legge try,

John Parker then broke away to feed Chris Muntz Torres for another try before Parker scored himself.

Jamie Gibbons then crossed over before a mass brawl saw two Aston players red carded and Bromyard captain Sam Sayce receive a yellow.

Parker took advantage of the numerical advantage by crashing over for his second try.

Greyhound narrowly lost 31-26 to St Leonards in Midlands 5 West (North), while Ross-on-Wye went down 30-10 to Old Colstonians in Gloucester 2.

Gavin Oates and Casey Morgan scored the tries for Ross.
