Ledbury’s golden moment

IT needed a golden try' to decide the Under-8 Tag final of Luctonians Anglo-Welsh Mini Rugby Festival.

Ledbury and Longlevens were 4-4 at the end of normal time in a closely fought final.

So the first to score in extra time would take the title and Longlevens quickly took possession before being stopped by Ledbury whose James Prestwich sprinted over for the decider.

Ledbury had previously topped their group against strong opposition in Bromyard, Brecon, Lucs Knights and Longlevens, and beaten Hereford 4-3 in the semi-finals.
