Droitwich 2nd 19 pts Hereford 3rd 26 HEREFORD rallied well to inflict only the second defeat of the season on the Herefordshire & Worc-estershire Merit Table Division 2 leaders.
Droitwich piled on 19 unanswered points in the first period and, with three injuries and substitutes used at the turnaround, Hereford, who were down to 14 men with two of the front row carrying injuries, looked in far from good shape. But Martin McCall quickly crossed for a try which Richard Rees converted and Rees then crossed for a second try which he converted himself.
Veteran Rodney Edwards went over under the posts for a third try, adding the conversion himself to put Hereford in front for the first time.
And the visitors' win was sealed when powerhouse backrow Ritchie Tank forced his way over for a fourth try.
