Droitwich's Hanbury Road rugby ground has been chosen as the venue for the opening match in this season's RLF North Midlands Championship between holders Worcestershire & Herefordshire and Greater Birmingham next Tuesday.
Worcestershire & Herefordshire claimed the title last-season by defeating Shropshire in the final at Moseley and denying them a fourth consecutive championship.
Shropshire and Worcestershire & Herefordshire will meet in a re-match of the final at Telford Hornets on May 1 with Greater Birmingham playing Shropshire at Moseley in the final group match on May 8.
The top two teams in the group will meet in the final which will now be played at a venue to be confirmed on May 15. All matches kick-off at 7.30pm.
The competition is contested annually by the three Domestic Unions that make up the North Midlands.
