Record Festival entry expected

LUCTONIANS will be staging their annual Sun Valley Rugby Project Tag Rugby Festival at their Mortimer Park ground on April 27.
More than 400 youngsters from 28 schools in Herefordshire, Shrop-shire and Powys will be taking part in the event, which is the culmination of a five-week coaching block run by Luctonians with generous sponsorship from Sun Valley.
Most of the schools will be returning to Lucton-ians for a fourth season and the winners will progress to the Child Victims of Crime National Tag Rugby finals day at Rugby School in July.
Luctonians also hope to submit a claim for a record for numbers of youngsters participating a Tag Rugby festival.
The current record held by Northwich RFC is for 242 youngsters.
