LUCTONIANS hooker Jordan Street says he is delighted with his form after grabbing another try last Saturday.

Street opened the scoring against Preston Grasshoppers at Mortimer Park – his seven try this season.

"I'm very happy and will try now to keep scoring and concentrating on my game," said Street.

"It is very good for a hooker, but I've been lucky and just got to keep concentrating now and carry on scoring tries.

"Hopefully they will keep coming."

Street has been an ever present for Luctonians and loves playing for the Kingsland side.

"I've started off as a mini and came through the ranks," said Street.

"I started at under-7s and just been at the club ever since.

"I don't think I've had a season when I haven't been here.

"I did have a season over in New Zealand, but I came back and was lucky enough to get into the first team."

Meanwhile, outside centre Will Burton believes Luctonians are in the driving seat to stay in the league.

"It was good to get a win but we probably should have gone for it at the end and got a try bonus point," said Burton.

"But it was crucial to get the win and we've now dragged Preston into the relegation battle.

"I think we must be one of the form sides in the league and are playing very well.

"The structure seems to be a lot better and it seems to be going alright for us.

"The boys had great support at Birmingham and Louis was kicking so well.

"The pack was dominant and we won us penalties, which got us up for this game."
