LUCTONIANS face a 'make or break' game against Stockport this weekend after coming unstuck at Broadstreet.

Stockport are bottom of National 2 North having lost 17 of their 19 games and Luctonians will know they will have to add to that total at Mortimer Park.

Luctonians opened the scoring against Broadstreet through two Geraint Langdon penalties, but that was as good as it got as their Coventry opponents started to dominate.

Their pack overturned a Luctonians scrum on their own five-metre line, allowing Jack Gibbons to go over, with Ben Palmer converting.

More points followed, with Stewart Pearl being at the bottom of a drive-over try.

Palmer's long-range penalty extended the lead after half-time, before a sustained period of pressure from Broadstreet saw scrum-half Thatcher claim his first try of the game.

Broadstreet were easily in control, but had to wait until the final 10 minutes to claim the bonus point.

Luctonians saw two men sin-binned to add to their wows, with the numerical advantage quickly telling.

Another maul drove the visitors back, which saw the ball spread to Thatcher to cross in the corner.

Luctonians finished with 12 men after Ashley Horner was sent off for taking out Gibbons, while Aaron Gibbs added Broadstreet's fifth try.
