A PARTNERSHIP with Green King IPA Championship side Worcester Warriors has helped improve Ross' coaching techniques.

The two clubs started to link up last season and has seen Warriors' coaches visit Greytree.

"They offer coaching to our junior teams and also to the senior side," said Ross second team coach Ian Phillips.

"It is quite good because our two coaches have been about quite a while and have played a lot of rugby.

"It is good to have some professional coaches and some new training techniques and skills which we have started to bring into our game at our training sessions."

Phillips said that Warriors coach Steve Joslin is the club's main contact and Ross have built up a good relationship with him.

"He supplies all our coaching and also gives some of our youngsters some fun in that they can go up and watch some games," said Phillips.

"They can also play tag at half-time.

"We have got Nick Rawlings and Leon Meek as our two main coaches.

"They have played a lot of rugby and at a very high standard.

"We have also got Simon Gwynne with us, who has got a lot of vast experience.

"He works at Halo and we have have got a lot of help with his training techniques and fitness."
