Pegasus Juniors 0 North Leigh 3 PEGASUS conceded three second-half goals in a comprehensive Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division defeat at Old School Lane.
Former Ewyas Harold goalkeeper Stuart Turpin made a brave save at the feet of Mark Simms as high-flying North Leigh attacked early-on.
Cory Hyde curled a shot wide and Mark Davies header over for Pegasus before Turpin pulled off a spectacular save to deny Simms.
Turpin was in the thick of the action a minute later, making a fine reaction stop to keep out a deflected strike from Jamie Mortimer-Jones.
The Hereford club were unfortunate not to open the scoring with the best move of the match after the interval.
Anthony Robbins, Rob Laurie, Dean Jordan and Hyde combined to find Ben Price whose cross was met by Chris Mortlock.
However, the visiting goalkeeper managed to keep out the striker’s effort.
North Leigh took the advantage soon afterwards through a Chris Allen tap-in and Allen added a second from a corner.
Substitute Paul Cooper sealed the visitors’ triumph with a third goal after his shot took a deflection off Lee Mussell.
Pegasus Juniors 6 Kington Town 0 PEGASUS eased into the final of the Presteigne Otway Cup with a comfortable victory at Presteigne.
But the game was marred by a serious injury to Cain Clark who was taken to hospital with a dislocated right-knee.
First-half goals from Richard Harrison and Chris Mortlock put Pegasus in control.
Further goals from Hyde (2), Sam King and Robbins completed the rout for Pegasus who will now meet Presteigne in the final at Llanandras Park on April 27.
