PEGASUS Juniors bounced back from a 7-1 hammering at AFC Bridgnorth by smashing seven of their own past Bromyard Town in Wets Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.

James Edmonds' side were in lethal form at Delahay Meadow, with Sam Pearson and Cory Hyde both helping themselves to a hat-trick.

Pearson opened the in the 22nd minute before Hyde doubled Pegasus' advantage seven minutes later.

It was then 3-0 three minutes before half-time when Pearson netted again before he completed his hat-trick shortly after the re-start.

Brad Birch pulled a goal back for Bromyard after 56 minutes, but that was as good as it got for Nick Smith's men as Pegasus went on to run away with the game.

Hyde netted two penalties to complete his hat-trick before Keanu Barnett wrapped up proceedings in stoppage time.

Wellington, meanwhile, went down 1-0 to Bridgnorth.

The Shropshire side grabbed the winner with 12 minutes from time, but Welly probably should have got something from the game.

Paul Jones had a great chance in the first half, but shot wide, while new Westfields signing Zac Sirrell headed past the post on his debut after the re-start.

Ben Thomas then saw his header well saved with minutes to go and Bridgnorth held on for the win.
