North Herefordshire Hunt meet starts Welsh Border Area point to point season

THE Welsh Border Area point-to- point season gets under way on Saturday with the North Herefordshire Hunt fixture at Whitwick Manor, Lower Eggleton.

Fixture secretary Frank Morgan has received 194 entries for the nine-race card and going is expected to be decent at the course, situated near Newtown crossroads, HR8 2UE.

The first race is due off at midday with entrance set at £12.50.
