Barnes takes junior title at Herefordshire Cross Country Championships

WYE Valley runner Jon Barnes romped home first In the junior (under 20 over 17) section of the Herefordshire AA County Cross Country Championships.

Barnes, in his last year as a junior man had a comfortable win from Gavin Jones and Tom Stokes.

Rory Johnson, a Ledbury runner and member of Worcester AC, recorded his first senior championship from Eliot Taylor of Couriers.

The women’s races were won by Clara Evans (junior woman), Kylie Masfield (senior women), Paula Moseley (veteran women).
