International call-up for bowler Shaun

A HEREFORD Bowling Club member is on the brink of international honours.
Shaun Jones has been selected as travelling reserve for the England under-25 side who are playing in the British Championships at Ayr, starting on Saturday.
“This is one of the highest achievements by a male Herefordshire bowler and it is hoped that Shaun will play in one of the matches against Wales, Scotland and Ireland,” said Herefordshire County Bowling Association Secretary Glyn Williams.
