WITH victories in the Herefordshire AA 5,000 and 10,000 metre championships, Wye Valley Runner Luke Mason has established himself as the county’s double track-endurance champion.
Mason came home in 34 min 06.03 sec to take the 10,000m from Matt James, who finished in 34.44.7.
Mason repeated his success in the 5,000m, romping home in 16.09.2 to leave James trailing in his wake.
It was a bitter pill for James who won both titles in 2007.
Hereford Couriers runner Neil Lewis completed a double in the Veteran Men’s races.
There were doubles also for Lisa Quinn in the senior women’s races and for Nikki Edwards in the veteran women’s section.
