Rivers cycles to victory in Hereford time-trial

IAN Rivers took top spot in Hereford Wheelers Cycling Club’s friendly 10-mile time-trial last night on the Burley Gate course.
But, because the course was changed from the original 25-mile trial, the result will not count in the 15-race series.
Rivers secured first place in 22 minutes and 31 seconds, while Wheeler Jon Tetley was second only 21 seconds behind.
Two Climb on Bikes riders took the next two places, Richard Lambert in 23.36 followed by Steve King, 13 seconds later.
