SPORTING starlets from 30 county primary schools and four secondary schools battled it out at the popular Herefordshire Youth Games.

Tag Rugby, hockey, rounders and golf were among the many sports which were staged at Hereford Leisure Centre.

The youngsters enjoyed the day and many produced outstanding individual displays.

The event, which takes place in Herefordshire each year, was held during the National Schools’ Sports Week.
