Prosser is tops at Llandegfedd

THE third of Hereford Fly Fishing Club’s competitions this year was a boat match held on the picturesque 434-acre Llandegfedd reservoir near Pontypool.
The lake proved to be well stocked and most of the thirty one competitors caught their limit of six rainbow trout. Top angler for the second time this year was Dave Prosser with 11lb 10oz followed by Len Clarke and Andrew Lampard with 11lb 8oz. Best fish of the day was caught by Steve Beard with a splendid specimen of 2lb 10oz.
