EASTNOR recorded a six-wicket win at Redditch on the opening day of the cricket season in Division 1 of the Crusader Worcestershire County League.
Faisal bagged 4-51 to help bowl out the home side for 177 and then Adeel (79 not out) guided Eastnor to a comfortable win and a 20-point haul.
Bromyard collected five points after their match at home to Worcester fell victim to the wet weather.
Monmouth romped to an eight-wicket win at Alvechurch & Hopwood in a one-sided curtain-raiser in Division 2.
Ian Mackinlay snapped up 4-31 as Monmouth rushed out the hosts for 76 in 31.4 overs on a poor pitch.
Australian Jamie Craig struck an unbeaten 43, including 24 from one over, and Dan Fisher hit 21 as Monmouth completed their emphatic win in the 24th over.
Colwall’s match at Feckenham was rained off.
Wormelow made a disappointing start to life in Division 3 after crashing to a four-wicket home defeat to Harborne.
Wormelow were dismissed for 101 and the visitors knocked off the runs on a tricky pitch for the loss of six wickets.
