PROMOTION-chasing Hereford United face a crunch top-of-the-table clash tonight at leaders MK Dons in League 2.
The Bulls should be buoyant after a second-half goal from Gary Hooper gave them superb 1-0 win at Darlington last Saturday.
Hereford are third in the division, level on points with fourth-placed Stockport County.
However, United have played one match fewer than County and a win tonight would be a major boost to their automatic promotion hopes.
Striker Trevor Benjamin could be in contention for a place on the United bench after a lengthy absence with an eye infection.
Defender John McCombe is also battling for a place in the Hereford squad after being dropped for the match against Darlington.
Around 1,000 Hereford fans are expected to cheer on their team at the Dons.
MK Dons will clinch promotion to League 1 if they win tonight.
Hereford Times sports editor Richard Prime will be covering the action from the match.
