HEREFORD Cathedral Junior School have qualified for the West Midlands regional finals after being crowned county hardball cricket champions.
St Paul’s Church of England Primary School, Lucton School, Almley and Kingsland, competed at Hereford Cathedral School’s Wyeside playing fields in the Herefordshire Primary Schools Hardball Cricket Tournament.
Hereford Cathedral School beat Lucton by 11 runs in the final and will now travel to Shrewsbury School to represent Herefordshire in the West Midlands regional finals later this month.
Hereford Cathedral Junior School’s Colts B team were also winners – and took home the inaugural B team cup.
