A LEOMINSTER show jumper has experienced her best year to date.

Rosie Blossett, 16, rode two 148cc ponies, Irish Dream III and Midnight Milly, gaining victories and top six placings at national affiliated finals.

"Last year was extremely memorable year, definitely making it the best year I’ve ever experienced," she said.

"I would like to thank the two very special ponies, jumping consistently throughout the whole year.

"I also can’t thank my owners – Chris Biddle and Marianne Byard – enough for giving me the opportunity to ride and compete such brilliant ponies and giving me the opportunities to pursue my dreams."

Midnight Milly progressed from Novice to 1.2m classes, winning the Discovery regional finals, coming top in three out of four Foxhunter double clears and being third at the Indoor National finals at Scope Festival.

Irish Bailey III's successes included winning the JC/JD class at Blue Chip 2014, being victorious at the Mini Majors at Bicton Premier Show and gaining two wins and a second at the Cardigan County Show.
