HEREFORDSHIRE won on only two rinks in a 141 shots to 108 defeat when they entertained City and County of Bristol.
Clive Hanscombe, who has been in top form throughout the season, skipped his rink to an excellent 24-18 victory, and the rink skipped by Paul Rainthorpe achieved the other fine victory with a 29-24 success.
John Wear's rink had a close game before going down 19-16 and President Dave Holloway lost 23-12.
The rink skipped by Ron Perry lost by 28-14 and the heaviest defeat was sustained by Mike Charles' rink who lost 29-13.
