CHAZ Davies secured the points he needed to finish second in the World Superbike standings following the final meeting in Qatar.
The Kinsham star went into the round tied with Tom Sykes in the race to finish runner-up to runaway champion Jonathan Rea.
But two second place finishes were enough for Davies and he finished a clear 30 points ahead of Sykes.
Davies particularly showed his skill in the second race, storming from eighth on the grid to first in the first few corners before he would eventually be overtaken by Rea.
