BOTH Hereford United's League Two game versus Cheltenham Town at Edgar Street and Luctonians' National League Two Match against Nuneaton at Mortimer Park are both on following pitch inspections.
Luctonians held theirs at 9.30am, while Hereford United have just announced that the referee is confident that the pitch will thaw out by 3pm.
The news will delight the 1972 Giantkillers team who are due to watch the game from the stands.
Yesterday, many fans cheered as they made their way through High Town to a civic reception with the Mayor at the Town Hall, while more than 100 people attended a buffet dinner to honour them and commentator John Motson.
The latter was a 26-year-old when he was chosen to commentate on the Bulls' FA Cup Third Round replay match against Newcastle, but the extroadinary 2-1 win by Hereford helped kick-start his career after it was chosen as the main match on Match of the Day.
Motson came with his trademark sheepskin coat and both he and the Giantkilling team were given a great recepetion when they came out to "The Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy.
Hereford Times sports editor Richard Prime then invited the team and Motson onto the stage for a question and answer session and it was great to hear their anecdotes 40 years on.
It is hoped that their appearance at Edgar Street this afternoon will help inspire the current Hereford United team to a much needed win against high-flying Cheltenham.

Ian Morgan will also be tweeting updates throughout the game via @HTnewsroom, which will be fed to the Hereford Times' Facebook page and the website.
