NONE of the Herefordshire sides competing in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division managed to win on Saturday.

Wellington and Pegasus Juniors both lost at home, while Hereford Lads Club let slip a two-goal lead against Cradley Town.

It looked like Welly could claim three points against Wednesfield after Will Perkins put them ahead with a free-kick in the 13th minute.

But Wednesfield levelled through Scott Powell after the break before Reece Mason put the away side ahead 11 minutes from time.

Adam Skeldon sealed the win at the death.

"I think we would have been happy with a draw in the end but the last goal was a real killer and I can't believe we gave a silly goal away like that," said Wellington manager Gary Stevens.

"But they were good a side who moved the ball around very well and were quick.

"We just didn't do the right things at the right time and that cost us.

"I can't fault them for their effort but our communication on the pitch is not very good."

Wellington are in 10th place, one position above Lads Club, who should have beaten Cradley.

Kiea Cowley and Kalum Wildig opened up a 2-0 lead before Cradley scored two late goals through Geoffrey Hill and Drake Cervantes.

Meanwhile, Pegasus Juniors gave a good account of themselves against high-flying Tividale.

Kyle Panniers levelled the game in the 62nd minute after Tyree Clarke had opened the scoring for the away side.

But Clarke struck again 15 minutes from time to win the game.

There was better news for Kington Town though, who claimed a vital 3-0 away at Telford Juniors in Division One.

Connor Bufton scored two of the goals, with Tom Murphy also on target for Sam Bowen's team.
