Georgia Evans in action for Bristol City
PRESTEIGNE footballer Georgia Evans has been called up to play for Wales in two friendly internationals against Northern Ireland next week.
The news comes on the back of Evans playing in the Cyprus Cup earlier this month.
Evans plays for Bristol City, who play in the Women's Super League.
Last weekend, Bristol lost 2-1 against Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
"I am really pleased to be back in the Welsh squad, Cyprus was fantastic and we are really working hard now ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers," said Evans.
"I know I have to keep working and improving to stay in the squad."
