LUCTONIANS are up to 10th place in League 2 North after being awarded an extra point from a match played last month.
The encounter against Sedgley Park on February 4 ended in uncontested tries.
But it became apparent that Sedgley Park failed to replace a prop at the first time of asking, as required by the regulations.
Sedgley Park have accepted this, resulting in the National Clubs Association (NCA) awarding Lucs a four-try win.
The sanctions applied by the NCA reads: "The offending club will forfeit the match and their opponents will be deemed to have won the match by four tries.
"For league purposes points, scored by both teams will be disregarded as will any bonus points for the offending side.
"Additional sanctions can be imposed by NCA on the offending side".
Lucs, who won the match 23-14, therefore jump above Otley and Whafedale into 10th place.
The Kingsland side are away to Hinckley tomorrow.
