THE 50/50 draw has helped raise nearly £44,000 for Hereford FC since the club was formed.
The initiative is a key part of Hereford United Supporters Club's fundraising programme, which aims to reach is share target of £289,000 in order to make the club 50 per cent fan owned by March 20.
“The 50/50 draw has been hugely successful and is the principal reason why supporters now own 100,000 shares in Hereford FC," said HUST chairman Richard Tomkins.
"Every £2 of 50/50 tickets purchased buys HFC supporters one share in the club.”
"As a thank you for their hard work in rain and shine, the HUST board is sending all 50/50 volunteers to the forthcoming Sportsman’s Evening event next month."
