TALGARTH Town have moved five points clear at the top of Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) after beating title rivals Llanidloes Town Reserves 3-2.
Talgarth opened up a two goal lead through Conor O’Shea and Kyle O’Shea and also saw Jordan Harvey miss a penalty before half-time.

Harvey kept his nerve this time to snatch a vital three points for Chris Voyle’s side.
Hay St Mary's Reserves have games in hand and maintained their challenge with a 3-1 home win over Rhayader Town Reserves.
Stu Rees, Rob McNamara and Tom Weaver netted for the Saints before veteran, Scott Oxford reduced the deficit.
Knighton Town Reserves also kept their hopes of honours alive after coming from behind to triumph 3-1 at St Harmon.
Josh Rees had handed the hosts the lead but an own goal saw the Robins level before half-time before Corin Jones and Harry Worton won it in difficult conditions.
Knighton’s first team were frustrated as their big local derby with Llandrindod Wells was postponed in Spar Mid Wales League Division One.
Hay St Mary's were in action but slumped to a 5-2 defeat at Llanrhaeadr where Jack Biggs and own goal made up their tally.
In Division Two, Presteigne ran leaders Kerry close before falling to a 2-1 home defeat.
Owen Wiliams had put Presteigne in front but Kerry levelled from the penalty spot before grabbing their winner just two minutes from time.
