HEREFORD manager Pete Beadle says his team won't take anything for granted when they go to North Leigh tonight.

The Bulls are unbeaten in 18 Southern League Division One South & West games, but North Leigh are also in a bit of form having won their last five matches in all competitions.

The Oxfordshire side, who are managed by former Hereford United defender John Brough, are also through to the first round proper of the FA Trophy.

"A new manager has come in, I think it's taken him a little while to bed in, but I know he will have his team fully prepared for us," said Beadle.

"They have had a few distractions with the cups and they be looking to progress in the FA Trophy on Saturday, so on a good day he may rest three or four maybe.

"But I don't think he will do that – I think he will want to stop our run and want to win.

"It will be a difficult place to go.

"I've never been there but I've heard there is a end to end slope.

"We've played on slopes side to side, other slopes end to end.

"At the end of the day, it's 11 v 11 and we'll try to do the best we can."

John Mills should be in contention to start after being on the bench for last Saturday's win against Salisbury as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Centre-back Mark Preece was withdrawn after sustaining an Achilles injury, os Jimmy Oates will come in should Preece be unfit to start, with Ryan Green reverting to the middle of defence.

Neith Evesham or Tiverton are playing tonight, so Hereford will go 12 points clear if they win.

Kick-off is 7.45pm, with updates available on the Hereford Times website.
