WESTFIELDS lost 4-1 to Coleshill Town this afternoon in the third round of the FA Vase to dash their dreams of reaching Wembley.
Sean Edwards targeted the FA Vase as a realistic target for his side this season, but his side had no answer to a ruthless Coleshill.
The Warwickshire side were 2-0 up inside the first 16 minutes thanks to a Tom Weale brace and were then awarded a penalty.
However the conversion hit a post to give Westfields hope.
But Coleshill did score again in the 31st minute thanks to Gio Danty to give Westfields a mountain to climb.
And Westfields' woes deepened three minutes into the second half when former Alvechurch player Jordan Nadat made it 4-0.
Westfields did net a consolation through Richard Greaves but it was too little, too late.
