HEREFORD Hockey Club claimed three wins last Saturday.
The men's second team beat South Gloucestershire Seconds 5-2 in The Marches 1, while both the women's teams came through their matches with victories.
The first team beat Firebrands Seconds 2-0 in Premier Division 2A, while their seconds overcame rivals Colwall & Malvern 4-0 in Severn Division 1.
Leominster's men's team claimed a much needed 3-2 win at Ross-on-Wye in De Cymru & The Marches 1.
The north Herefordshire side had struggled in the division following relegation, but the win lifts them up to ninth place.
Leominster Seconds went down 3-2 to Cirencester Thirds in the Marches 1, while Ross Seconds thrashed Wotton-under-Edge Fourths 5-0 in the Marches 2.
Other results in the West Clubs' Women's League were Colwall & Malvern Seconds 0-3 Blockley Seconds and Lansdown Thirds 0-3 Ross-on-Wye.
Presteigne went down 3-2 to Cardiff University Thirds in Premier 2 of the South Wales League.
Presteigne attacked from the first whistle, with Jess Goodwin, Ellie Williams and Nicola Phillips having plenty of the ball. But slight misfortunes saw Cardiff score twice.
Presteigne hit back with a Goodwin goal before the same player levelled the game.
But Cardiff bagged the winner just before the end.
