HINTON are four points clear at the top of the HFA County League Premier Division following an excellent start to the season.

The Hereford based club have won seven of their opening eight games, with their latest win being a 4-0 success over bottom club Pegasus Reserves.

Callum Ditchfield, Matthew Evans, Ieuan Woodcock and Bradley Matthews were all on target,

In second place are Tenbury United, who have also had a decent start.

The Palmers Meadow side have won six games so far and have a game in hand on Hinton.

Last Saturday, Tenbury beat Bartestree 5-3 thanks to hat-trick from Ryan Morris.

Ewyas Harold are third following a 3-0 victory over Hereford Lads Club Reserves, while Leominster Town beat Ledbury Town 5-2 to record their first win of the season.

In the division's other game, Jean Alveraz scored for Holme Lacy in a 1-0 win at Orleton Colts.

Ledbury Town Reserves lead the way in Division One with five wins from five, with their latest win being s 3-1 victory over third-placed Ewyas Harold Reserves.

Tenbury Town, who beat Kington Town reserves 4-1 last Saturday, are second.

Elsewhere, Holme Lacy Reserves saw off Woofferton in a dramatic 5-4 win, Fownhope Reserves thrashed Orleton Colts Reserves 7-3, Wellington Colts overcame Hereford City 5-0 and Hinton Reserves beat Weobley 3-1.

In Division Two, Kingstone Rovers beat Ross Juniors 6-2 to maintain their unbeaten start, Toros hammered bottom club Hereford City Reserves 14-0 and Withington recorded their first win thanks to a 2-0 victory over Civil Service.

There were also wins for Dore Valley, Leominster Reserves and Burghill Rangers.
