A HEREFORD teenager has become the 2016 London Development Open Club Grade 5 Gymnastics champion.
Brad Lewis, 13, competed against boys from Northampton, Plymouth, Milton Keynes, London and Scotland at the event held in Essex.
The Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School pupil won overall gold after competing on six pieces of apparatus.
Brad gained a bronze medal on the floor and gold medals on the pommel horse and parallel bars.
The teenager, who will be competing at the national finals in Birmingham next month, is a member of Fromeside Gymnastics Club in Bristol and is coached by Karen Brewer.
