SIRDIC Grant is hopeful of making a decision on where to play next season in the next two weeks.

The former Hereford FC winger has been training with Westfields and played an hour in their pre-season friendly against Welsh side Caersws last Saturday.

"I played 60 minutes due to a hip I injury I have been carrying, so I couldn't risk playing a full game," explained Grant.

"I have been training with Westfields for a while now and I'm enjoying it.

"The players have been training hard each session and the intensity and quality keeps getting better every session.

"Personally I think Westfields will be one of the club's in the league that will do well this season and probably get promoted."

Due to Visa restrictions, Grant cannot play higher than the Midland League.

The Ghanaian confirmed he has only spoken to Westfields personally, but his coach at Hartpury College has been in contact with other clubs.

Hartpury had a strong relationship with Hereford last season, which led to Grant coming on board.

The winger struggled to break into the starting 11 during the first half of the season, but played regularly during the last couple of months and started in the FA Vase Final at Wembley.

Grant also scored the last goal in a 4-0 win at Coventry Sphinx that secured the Midland Football League Division title for the Bulls.

"I had to be very patient because all of the players are very good and it wasn't easy to break into the starting squad," said Grant, who is studying sport business management at Hartpury.

"All I had waited for was to score so when that finally happened it was a great feeling and to seal promotion was perfect.

"It's also every player's dream to play at Wembley and to play in front of that many fans was a dream come true, I will always remember that day no matter the result.

"Playing for such a big club was an honour and I was with a good bunch of lads, so I was disappointed to leave.

"But, I know the club will do well and be successful in the future."
